Wir geben Restaurants ihre Freiheit zurück. Lieferplattformen versprechen Reichweite, binden Gastronomen aber oft in teure Abhängigkeiten mit hohen Provisionen und dem Verlust des direkten Kontakts zu ihren Stammkunden. Mit unserem Webshop, der sie wieder in den Vordergrund stellt, und intelligenten Tools helfen wir Restaurants, ihre Kundenbeziehungen zu stärken, Kosten zu senken und wieder unabhängig zu arbeiten.

Als CTO (m/w/d) übernimmst du die volle Verantwortung für Technologie und Architektur und sorgst dafür, dass unser Produktteam reibungslos liefert, Ideen schnell Realität werden und Strukturen entstehen, die mit uns wachsen.

Du agierst mit dem Commitment eines Co-Founders. Du triffst im Tech-Bereich alle wesentlichen Entscheidungen, gestaltest Operations, Delivery und Produktentwicklung aktiv mit und bist Teil des Kernteams, das die nächsten Jahre von Robin Cook prägen wird. Mit Unternehmensanteilen bist du nicht nur dabei, sondern baust mit uns auf.

Deine Aufgaben

Technische Verantwortung

Du führst die technische Entwicklung und stellst sicher, dass unsere Systeme stabil, skalierbar und zukunftsfähig sind
Du triffst Architekturentscheidungen, die langfristig tragfähig sind
Du entwickelst selbst mit, um nah am Code, an Technologie und an der Umsetzung zu bleiben

Operative Delivery-Führung

Du bringst Struktur, Priorität und Verbindlichkeit in den gesamten Entwicklungsprozess von der Idee bis zum Go-Live
Du sorgst dafür, dass Shaping, Planung, Umsetzung und Rollout klar definiert, realistisch und zuverlässig sind
Du erkennst frühzeitig Blocker, Engpässe oder fehlende Abstimmungen und löst sie proaktiv
Du arbeitest eng mit Data, Design und anderen Teams zusammen, um saubere Übergaben und klare Kommunikation sicherzustellen

Führung und Teamaufbau

Du führst das Entwicklerteam fachlich und disziplinarisch, förderst Leistung, Motivation und Eigenverantwortung
Du etablierst Feedbackroutinen und bist Ansprechpartner für das Team
Du baust ein starkes, verlässliches Tech-Team auf, das für unsre Kunden Mehrwert liefert

Dein Profil

Du hast mehrere Jahre in der Softwareentwicklung gearbeitet, idealerweise im Web-Umfeld, und kennst dich mit modernen Technologien wie PHP, Symfony, Vue.js oder ähnlichen Stacks aus
Du hast bereits ein Entwicklungsteam fachlich und disziplinarisch geführt, zum Beispiel als CTO, Head of, Tech Lead oder in einer vergleichbaren Rolle
Du hast selbst gegründet oder warst in einem Startup-Umfeld aktiv und weißt, wie man in einer dynamischen Umgebung mit klarer Struktur und Fokus arbeitet
Du kannst technische Exzellenz mit einem klaren Blick für Prioritäten, Abläufe und effiziente Zusammenarbeit verbinden
Du willst nicht nur technisch mitgestalten, sondern auch strategisch und operativ Verantwortung übernehmen
Du kannst technische Komplexität verständlich machen und kommunizierst offen und klar auf Englisch und idealerweise auf Deutsch

Today restaurant owners pay high commissions, often for regular customers they had already won themselves. At the same time, they get lost in endless restaurant listings and lose direct contact with their own orderers.

Robin Cook is changing that: With our mission FREE THE RESTAURANTS, we give restaurant owners back control. Our webshop and innovative tools help them win back regular customers and save on excessive commissions.

Here’s your role in this mission: As Head of Software Development (m/f/d) and our future CTO you will actively shape the team’s technical development and ways of working. You will enhance team performance and ensure that we deliver quickly and continuously. With your technical expertise and contributions to the code, you will keep the team on track and move our mission forward. This way, we stay one step ahead and keep providing restaurants with new tools for their success.

Ready for a new chapter in Bremen? We will of course support you during your first months with accommodation before you move permanently to Bremen so we can celebrate our successes together.

Your tasks

You lead our development team both technically and disciplinarily through clear communication, high transparency, and a shared focus on goals and output
You bring structure to our technical processes: using agile methods, sensible standards, and continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reliability
You plan and prioritize development tasks, identify obstacles or deviations early on, and make well-informed decisions regarding technical feasibility
You work closely with the product team and other stakeholders on projects: translating product ideas into robust technical solutions, keeping the business case in mind and ensuring clarity on progress and challenges
You actively contribute to coding and as a technical mentor stay closely connected to technology, the team, and implementation

Your profile

You have solid experience in web-based software development with PHP, Symfony, and Vue.js
You have already held a leadership role as Head of, Tech Lead, Team Lead, or CTO with both technical and disciplinary responsibility
You have worked in a startup or founded one yourself and you know how to work clearly and with focus in a dynamic, iterative environment
You think in a structured way, set clear priorities and find solutions to complex challenges
You have a strong sense for technological innovation and experience with automation and scalable development tools
You are ambitious to achieve more and take an active approach to change rather than waiting for it to happen
You can make technical complexity understandable and communicate openly and clearly in English and ideally also in German
You are open to relocating to our Bremen location and see it as an opportunity to achieve success together on site!
